Chad served as a firefighter with Jasper Alberta and Parks Canada and also served as a Captain on the Fire Brigade. After being diagnosed with PTSD and leaving the department, Chad took up a career in hospitality and  has a great passion for sports. Sports have been a big part in recovery for Chad. As Co-Founder of

Matt is a Canadian military veteran who served in Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, as part of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team. On December 13th, he was part of a patrol that was hit by an Improvised Explosive

Matt is a Canadian military veteran who served in Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, as part of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team. On December 13th, he was part of a patrol that was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device, resulting in 3 KIA. Upon returning home, Matt was eventually diagnosed with PTSD. After finding organizations such as Soldier On and Wounded Warriors Canada, he has found sport and activity an integral part of his post service life.

James is a Canadian Military Veteran and Helps organize events with Helping Heroes Heal in and around the Kingston Ontario Area such as weekly Hockey at a local arena to provide ice time for veterans and first responders to get out and enjoy some association.. Also organizing yoga for veterans and first responders in

James is a Canadian Military Veteran and Helps organize events with Helping Heroes Heal in and around the Kingston Ontario Area such as weekly Hockey at a local arena to provide ice time for veterans and first responders to get out and enjoy some association.. Also organizing yoga for veterans and first responders in the area as well to provide more opportunities for veterans and First Responders. James supports other HHH events in and around the province of Ontario.

Phil Howie is a Canadian Military Veteran and supports Helping Heroes Heal on a number of fronts. Phil  is President of the Green Knights MMC Chapter 17 In Hamilton Ontario A veteran group and has created a network  of veterans that support each other and help organize events to help the veteran community.

Aristotle Domingo is a double below-knee amputee, an adaptive athlete and Founder of the Amputee Coalition of Toronto. Since becoming an amputee, he has become a voice for the amputee community in Canada – advocating for rights for amputees, access to funding for prosthesis and care, and research so that they can live their best lives.
